Port of Sunderland was one of ten sites around the region included in the successful bid for a second North East Enterprise Zone (EZ) in November 2015.
Two river berths at Corporation and Greenwells Quays. Main cargo berths within the docks are at East Quay South, QE2 Berth and Jubilee Berth.
Premises and land are available on attractive lease terms to businesses operating in various sectors, as well as companies with cargo handling and freight storage requirements.
Port of Sunderland provides a variety of services including dredging, pilotage, towage, stevedoring and waste disposal, operating on a 24 hour, 365 day per year basis.
Port of Sunderland covers an area of 106 hectares. Within its boundary a wide range of tenants undertake a variety of port and maritime-related activities and industrial operations.
